GULFSTAR ENERGY GATHERING LINE WARREN COUNTY/BUTLER COUNTY:

DDS ENGINEERING, PLLC began working with Gulfstar Energy Group, LLC of Morgantown, Kentucky in 2009 to assist them in providing all proper permitting and crossing requirements regarding the installation of a natural gas gathering pipeline. Routing of the line is from Bowling Green, Warren County, Kentucky to Aleris Aluminum, Inc. in Morgantown, Butler County, Kentucky.

DDS ENGINEERING, PLLC coordinated with the United States Army Corps of Engineers, Kentucky Division of Water and Kentucky Environmental Protection Agencies to resolve previously encountered permit issues and to ensure the proper application of permits for future work being performed in the installation of the natural gas line.

Efforts were made to prepare two single and complete submissions for permits to cross seven (7) separate named and un-named streams throughout Butler and Warren County, where the natural gas gathering line would cross. Each stream would require permission to cross from both the United States Army Corps of Engineers and the Kentucky Division of Water.

Efforts were also made to prepare applications for roadway encroachment for subsurface boring under William Natcher Parkway, KY Highway 403, KY Highway 79, US Highway 231 and a local Warren County road. Encroachment applications were prepared and submitted to the Kentucky Department of Highways and the Warren County Road Department for approval.

DDS ENGINEERING, PLLC will coordinate all efforts as needed, with Gulfstar Energy Group, LLC and all associated agencies, throughout the resolution of all issues regarding the natural gas gathering line installation, scheduled for completion by August of 2009.
