Lost River Cave Visitors Center:

The Friends of the Lost River Cave and Valley hired DDS ENGINEERING, PLLC to prepare site surveys, geo-technical testing and the site development design for the new 10,000 square foot visitor center. The location for the center will be near the edge of the bluff near one of the three “blue holes” in the valley floor. The City of Bowling Green Greenways trail will connect into a pedestrian walkway system leading to the center, and vehicular access will utilize existing entrance and a new entrance on Dishman Road.

The program scope calls for a “green” building and potential LEED certification. DDS ENGINEERING, PLLC anticipates using pervious pavement, bio-retention swales and native plants in the landscape to contribute “green” site development design.

Design is in progress for this project.
